Overview

This policy explains how The GOAT, LLC collects and uses information when you use Season DFS. It covers seasondfs.com, app.seasondfs.com, demo.seasondfs.com, and the related Season DFS services we operate.

We collect the information needed to run fantasy leagues, support users, process purchases, and understand how the product is working. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Information you give us

• Account information: your email address and an internal account identifier.
• League information: league and team names, settings, invitations, membership, lineups, standings, and other league activity.
• Communications: feedback, support requests, and other messages you send us.
• Purchase information: the league plan purchased, payment status, and transaction identifiers received from Stripe.

Information collected automatically

When you use Season DFS, our systems and hosting providers may receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, request times, and error information. We use this information to deliver the service, maintain security, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.

Analytics

Season DFS uses Fathom Analytics on our main site, application, and public demo. Fathom gives us general information such as page views, popular pages, referral sources, countries, browsers, and device types. We use it to understand product usage and improve Season DFS.

Fathom is designed to provide aggregate analytics without analytics cookies or profiles that follow people across websites. We do not use analytics information for targeted advertising.

Payments

Stripe processes payments for paid league options. Payment card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are not stored by Season DFS. Stripe may collect billing, device, and transaction information under its own privacy policy. We receive the information needed to confirm and record the purchase, such as payment status and a transaction identifier.

How we use information

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts;
• create leagues and provide league features;
• calculate and display lineups, scores, and standings;
• process purchases and keep transaction records;
• respond to feedback and support requests;
• send requested updates and important service messages;
• monitor reliability, fix errors, and improve the product; and
• protect users, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

When information is shared

We share information only when needed to operate Season DFS, complete a transaction, follow the law, or protect the service and its users. Service providers include Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, and data storage; Stripe for payments; and Fathom for analytics. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Some league information is naturally shared with other members of the same league. For example, members may see team names, lineups, scores, standings, and commissioner information needed to participate.

We may also disclose information when legally required, during a business transfer, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security problems, or violations of our terms.

Cookies and browser storage

Season DFS and its service providers may use cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in, remember application preferences, and provide core features. Fathom analytics does not use cookies. You can clear browser storage through your browser, but doing so may sign you out or reset saved preferences.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, preserve league history, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Different types of information may be kept for different lengths of time.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website, database, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account. You may also opt out of nonessential email updates. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, payment, or league-record purposes.

Privacy rights vary by location. We will review requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children's privacy

Season DFS is designed for a general audience. Children under 13 should not create an account or submit personal information without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us so we can review and address it.

Third-party links and services

Season DFS may link to websites and services we do not operate. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Season DFS changes. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date. If a change is important, we may also provide notice through the service or by email.
